Rick Ross in hospital after seizure
Rapper Rick Ross is under close watch at a Florida hospital following a seizure during a flight to Memphis on Friday.
According to TMZ, he is now “doing fine” and friends of the rapper also say is alert and feeling better.
Initial reports were that Rick Ross, 35, was lying on a gurney unconscious at the airport as paramedics desperately performed CPR on him after his flight made an emergency landing.
According to eyewitnesses on the scene, members of his entourage were holding vigil by the rapper’s side — and many were visibly shaken and upset.
Rick Ross fell unconscious almost immediately after take-off, TMZ reports, and his entourage jumped out of their seats to alert flight attendants. It was at that point that a doctor onboard administered CPR before the plane made an emergency landing.
Rick Ross (born William Leonard Roberts) has released five albums. He scored a Top 20 hit in 2008 with his single “The Boss,” which featured T-Pain.
